I have no idea why I felt like posting, but posting I am. What have I been up to?
Well, my game selection has changed a little bit. Not a whole lot, but some.
I just resubbed to WoW, but now I am wondering why. Maybe it is some kind of nostalgia. I think what made WoW great was playing with my friends, and pretty much every friend has moved on.
I tried leveling my Druid a little bit.....and by a little bit I mean I completed one quest and was like UGHHHHHHHHH. Shit is way too slow. I may just have grown out of MMOs a bit. At least the traditional type of MMO like WoW. Everything just feels so grindy, my friends are gone, and there is nothing I really want to work towards. I really wish I could just level in my garrison, which is just really fucking sad. I would rather play WoW as Farmville that WoW. I dont even know if farmville is still a thing, but you get my drift.
I am still playing a decent amount of D3, but the season is almost over, and I literally have no reason to currently play other than helping my sister gear out a few characters. The only thing I am missing from my cube is the Furnace, and I already have it cubed in non-season. I still really have fun with D3, especially at the start of a new season when all of my friends are playing again.
Last I wrote, I was really deep into Destiny. I have played Destiny for more hours than any game I have ever played outside of WoW. It was one of the best games I ever played, and the PvP kept me playing long past its PvE expiration dates. Notice I say.....WAS. Back in December, they introduced skill based match making without telling anybody. Then they lied about it for several months before admitting it. Despite the huge amount of backlash, they still really havent fixed it. They have said that they adjusted it more towards connection, but what we are currently stuck with is a laggy unplayable piece of shit that matches me with people of similar skill level.....but those people are across the world and Destiny doesnt even have dedicated servers. I am going to post my Destiny tracker so that you can see the amount of time I put into PvP. I know PvP, and it is officially broken.

They have a big content release coming up on 04/12 and I guess it will be the determining factor on if I still play Destiny. It was one of my all time favorites, but Bungie apparently couldnt figure out how to leave well enough alone. If they fix matchmaking, I am all in. If I keep getting matched up against sweaty try hards across the ocean with red bar connections, I am pretty much done.
You know what else is coming out on 04/12? The Division's first big patch. There are a ton of great changes being implemented. This is still the first month of The Division, but they are already being a much more proactive company than Bungie. They are listening to the community and making changes and fixing things on the fly rather than making you wait 6 months for something.
I am currently having a decent amount of fun in the Division, but it is quite grindy. The most fun is going rogue in the Dark Zone and killing other characters and then doing your best to survive as the other players hunt you down.
The one game I am most excited about coming up is Overwatch. That is looking like the game that will replace Destiny for me. It looks fun and exciting, and it rewards team play. The characters and roles look great and I just really cant wait to play it. I mean, I have only been playing Blizzard games for like 20 years.....I kind of wish I would have gotten a beta key at some point. I will most likely be getting the game on Xbox as that is where I play with most of my FPS friends.
Well, thats what I have been up to in the world of gaming. I dont really expect any replies, but what has anybody who periodically checks in been up to?
Also, I dont stream all the time, but you can find me on Twitch at https://www.twitch.tv/bigjuicyhog
