The Days of Meh

I have been playing WoW a bit, and have not logged onto TOR at all. I am getting closer and closer to cancelling my subscription to TOR as the days go on. My wife will not be able to play it, so that is strike one. I dont really want to give up WoW so that is strike two.

On the WoW front, I have been doing Auction House stuff, which is boring, but it is something I can do while semi AFK and finally watching the rest of Battlestar Gallactice (a couple of episodes into the final season at this point). Did you know that Cylon number 6 also does the voice of Kerrigan in SC2? She must have been at the Blizzcon voice panel that went on when I was there, but I was not interested at all in SC2.

As far as gold goes, I am at more than 2.6 million currently. I cannot get enough ore to keep up with the shuffle at this point. I run out of inferno rubies on a daily basis. I suppose that is a decent problem to have.

Anyways, what have you been up to?

He has been above 2 mil for awhile now, greedy bastard!

Haha that is true. Thankfully my server is very profitable for gems. On the bad side, ore is expensive since the last major patch.

I am sad to hear you may be giving up TOR, I did like the few stories you shared. But I also understand your reasons.

I also am very jealous of your gold acquisition via jewel crafting. I am up to a personal high around 35k, but can't seem to get much higher. It may be my refusal to spend more gold on ore, because once it gets to roughly 70G a stack, it doesn't feel worth it to me. It also may be due to my not having much luck selling the other byproducts of the shuffle that makes me shy away from them, thus limiting my gold making potential.

@ Blindseer: Unfortunately, there is not much for me in the game currently. Most of the end game content is too laggy to complete and I never see anyone doing the level 50 flashpoints.

I also cant see myself doing 90 percent of the same quests over again.

As far as shuffling goes, what else are you doing in you shuffle? Also, you are lucky with your 70 gold stacks. Mine have been between 100-200 gold a stack since 4.3.

Darr here just needs more folks at 50 to run things with. Unfortunately half our guild has jumped ship in favor of Light Side. The other half just hasn't been in the mood to even play on the computer, myself included. Netflix has the tendency to do such a thing to folks.

@Darraxus I myself am not quite to 50 yet on my Inquisitor. Between injuries, work, altitis that I can't seem to shake, and the Hunger Games, I am not quite to 44. I do find myself spacebarring my way through a lot of the quests that I completed in beta though. Hopefully, BioWare will recognize this down the road and add in more alternate routes for levelling. Perhaps a choice of 4 starter planets per faction.

As for shuffling, I probably shouldn't call it shuffling, mainly I just cut ore and then mail all of the green quality gems to my alchemist to either transmute to blue quality if the herb prices are decent or else turn them into meta gems. Occasionally I will make some jewelry to DE, but I tend to have trouble selling any enchants because I am such a small player.

How can you have 2.6 million gold when the gold cap per player is 1 million?

@SolidState:
You can mail the gold to another character and keep going, its a character based limit, not account wide.

@Darraxus:
Some way into the last season of battlestar galactica? Get ready to be disappointed...

@Reaper - ah, I assumed the "single player" the wowpedia article talks about refers to a single account, not a single character. Well regardless, as I have only 30k gold combined on all my characters, Darraxus's numbers are impressive :)
