I have not had to time I would like to put into my glyph industry, but I am still making a bunch of gold. Despite not having a lot of production time recently, I have still done very well with just cancelling and reposting the glyphs that I have.
The Glyph industry has been going up in price which has also helped out a lot. I have been selling Glyph's of Obliterate for 55 gold each. I also reset my fallback price on QuickAuctions2 to 30 gold instead of 23 gold. It seems that the main way to scare off glyph competition is the constant undercutting. You also have to be luck and repost at a time when you are not going to get immediately undercut.
I am now up to 142k gold on my bank toon. I am really hoping that the market stays as is for a while so that I can hit that gold cap. Once I hit the cap, I will probably send 50k to my main and keep on working back towards the cap again. Perhaps for Christmas this year I will buy my in-game friends an epic mount if they dont have it yet.
A quick note on QuickAuctions2. I use it to batch post my glyphs. It is not the best addon to post other items as you have to make individual profiles for each item. I still prefer to use Auctioneer for those. The big problem with running both at once is that Auctioneer really slows down batch posting of glyphs. If you are using both, make sure to turn Auctioneer off before batch posting your glyphs or else it will be doing tons of scan and slowing everything down.
This is by far the easiest way to make money. I dont even bother trying to sell anything else as I get the best bang for my buck selling glyphs.
